This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
OR
2 pounds chicken tenders
Marinade
4 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon finely minced ginger
1 green onion, minced
1 shallot, minced
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon plum sauce
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon Chinese chili garlic paste
Combine all marinade ingredients. Divide marinade in half, reserving half as dipping sauce. Use the other half as a marinade, and marinate the chicken breasts or tenders 1-8 hours.
Place the marinated chicken breasts or tenders on the grill and grill about 5 minutes per side.
Serve with reserved marinade as dipping sauce.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
