Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Marinated chicken is grilled to perfection in this Asian inspired recipe. The soy sauce based marinade flavors the meat perfectly. Serve it will steamed vegetables or add to a stir-fry.
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 cup rice wine
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1/2 tablespoon fresh minced ginger root
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine, sesame oil, green onions, and ginger in a zip-top plastic bag or other container. Add the chicken and turn to coat the chicken in the marinade.
Place the chicken in the refrigerator and let marinate for 1 hour (or up to 8 hours).
When ready to cook the chicken, preheat a grill to medium heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and transfer the marinade to a saucepan. Place the chicken on the grill and cook, turning as needed, until cooked through, 8-10 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chicken.
Meanwhile, bring the marinade to a boil over medium-high heat. Let it cook until slightly thickened. Serve with the grilled chicken.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Marinated it then wok fried it (I cubed the chicken didn't leave it whole). Added veggies and used the marinate as a stir fry sauce that I thickened with arrowroot
