A simple blend of red wine, olive oil, and Dijon mustard. This marinade infuses chicken with rich flavor and can double as a basting sauce while grilling.

1 1/2 cup dry red wine
3/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
black pepper
Combine wine, oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper to taste in a jar with cover. Cover and shake until blended.
Marinate chicken for 4-6 hours. Can be used as basting sauce for chicken on grill.

: But how did it taste? (despite being purple!)
