Sweet & Sassy Chicken Wings
- add review
- #14973
ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground ginger
5 pounds chicken wings
1/2 vegetable oil
directions
Combine first 4 ingredients. Place wings in marinade mixture; cover and chill for 1 hour.
Drain wings and bring marinade to room temp. Pour oil in a non-stick frying pan-best if use wok--heat the oil and pour in the marinade. The marinade will be foamy. Next slowly add the wings. Turn wings to keep from sticking and cook for 25 minutes.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

The recipe calls for 1/2 veggie oil. What unit of measure was this supposed to be, please? Thanks.

Delicious. Slightly sweet and saucy. My kids were licking the sauce off the bones!

This was a great recipe! I loved the way it taste. The prep and cook time sure takes time but it is worth it. If you want this recipe for dinner make it early because there is marinating invovled.
