March 23rd is National Chip and Dip Day

Why are chips and dip so irresistible? Perhaps it's the ability to take the familiar salty flavor of potato or tortilla chips and dress it up with any number of flavors and textures, depending on your choice of dip. Or maybe it's the way the consumer actually uses the little chips as scoops; instead of pouring the sauce onto the chip, you dip the food into the sauce! Just remember that it's bad form to double dip the same chip at a group event!
