ingredients
1 cup vodka
1 cup brandy
3 teaspoons concentrated pecan flavoring extract
3/4 teaspoon butter flavor extract
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
directions
Combine vodka, brandy, pecan flavoring, butter flavoring and orange zest in clean 1 quart jar.
Make a simple syrup by bringing white sugar, brown sugar, salt and water to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. When clear, remove from heat and let stand until just warm.
Combine with alcohol mixture. Let age for at least 1 month in a covered container.
