The traditional Manhattan is made with whiskey and sweet vermouth. This version replaces the vermouth with Galliano, a sweet, herby liqueur with flavors of star anise, juniper berry, peppermint, cinnamon, and vanilla.

2 ounces whiskey
1 ounce liquore Galliano
directions
Combine the whiskey and Galliano in a glass with ice. Stir to combine and chill.
Strain into another glass and serve immediately.
