Pomegranate Mint Julep

ingredients
2 teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
1 slice fresh lemon
10 fresh mint leaves
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
ice, as desired
directions
Crush sugar, lemon slice and mint with a fork in a tall glass. Add water and juice. Stir and add ice as desired.
Serve immediately. If desired, add a shot of bourbon.
