Jack Daniel's Cranberry Maple Barbecue Sauce

ingredients
2 cups ketchup
1 cup cider vinegar
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
3/4 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large dried ancho chilies, stemmed and seeded
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon coriander
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour or until thickened.
Remove from heat and cool. Place in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Brush over chicken, pork or beef during the last 10 to 15 minutes of grilling time.
