ingredients
1 jalapeno, ribbed, seeded, finely chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dark chili powder
4 ounces salted butter
1/2 lime, juiced
directions
Saute the jalapeno in the vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Add the chili powder and cook for one more minute. Add the butter and the lime juice. Remove from heat and skim off fat.
Good served on cooked vegetables or chilled and used as a spread.
