This cabbage salad is the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. The pineapple and chili sauce give it sweetness and bite, while the salt and pepper add just the right amount of seasoning.

ingredients
1 can (8 ounce size) crushed pineapple, undrained
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 package (16 ounce size) shredded cabbage
directions
Combine the undrained crushed pineapple, chili sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix well.
Add the shredded cabbage and mix until the cabbage is coated in the pineapple mixture.
Serve immediately or chill for 30-60 minutes. If you chill the salad longer you may have to drain off any excess liquid that accumulates.
