Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

It was a little salty, and my wife says too buttery, but other than that, very good. However, it needs something. I used the "Change Servings" button to increase it from 4 to 6, and it still didn't really make enough for 3. Of course, I didn't make any side dishes or anything other than the bread (was in a hurry), but maybe it should be served over rice or something?
