This strawberry lemonade tea recipe is a summer game-changer. It's a bold fusion of fruity and tangy, with a fizzy twist that screams refreshment.

4 cups water
6 lemon tea bags
24 ounces strawberry puree (see notes)
1 bottle (1-liter size) club soda or sparkling water
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea bags, fully submerging them in the water. Cover the pan and let the tea bags steep for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, place the fresh or frozen strawberries in a food processor and process until they are pureed, about 1 minute. Place the puree in the refrigerator.
Gently press the tea bags with the back of a spoon and remove them from the hot water. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
When the tea is cooled, combine it with the puree in a large pitcher. Mix well. Add club soda or sparkling water and serve immediately over ice.
Approximately 2 pints of fresh strawberries or 1 1/2 pounds frozen strawberries will yield the 24 ounces strawberry puree needed in this recipe.
Use filtered water for a cleaner taste.
Allow the tea to cool completely before mixing with the strawberry puree.
Gently stir the club soda into the tea to preserve the fizz.
Adjust the amount of strawberry puree added to suit your tastes.
Experiment with different types of tea to find your preferred flavor combination.
Prepare the strawberry puree ahead of time for quicker assembly.
Consider adding a splash of lemon juice for an extra zing.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.
Yes, you can use green tea, black tea, or herbal tea as alternatives, but lemon tea complements the strawberry flavor best.
You can use a blender or mash the strawberries manually, though the texture might be less smooth.
Yes, you can use plain water for a non-fizzy version, but the club soda adds a refreshing effervescence.
Yes, you can add sugar, honey, or a sugar substitute to the tea while it's warm to sweeten it.
You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir well before serving as the puree may settle at the bottom.
Yes, you can use store-bought puree, but fresh strawberries will give the best flavor.
The tea should steep for about 5 minutes. Over-steeping can make the tea bitter.
This drink is best served cold, but you can try it warm if you prefer.
Serve it over ice in tall glasses, garnished with fresh strawberries, lemon slices, and/or mint sprigs.
Yes, you can add fruits like raspberries, blueberries, or peaches for additional flavors.

Very refreshing and easy to make. A nice change of pace from regular fruit juice or regular iced tea! The lemon flavor is subtle, you could use more tea bags if you are looking for a more lemony taste. The overall sweetness will depend on the strawberries you use. Frozen whole strawberries work great, or if you want sweeter get frozen strawberries in syrup. We'll definitely make this recipe again!
