Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.

Tart lemonade mixed with sweet cherries makes a refreshing (and pretty) warm weather drink. We love serving this at summer parties.
1 cup hot water
3/4 cup sugar
4 cups cold water
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
6 ounces maraschino cherries, undrained
Combine the sugar and first measure of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir for 2-3 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Combine the sugar-water, cold water, lemon juice and undrained maraschino cherries in a large pitcher. Stir well.
Fill individual glasses with ice. Pour the cherry lemonade over the ice and serve.
A fun alternative to this recipe is to pour the maraschino cherries and their juice into an ice cube tray (evenly distribute the cherries among the cubes). Let freeze and then stir into the lemonade just before serving.

My kids love this drink. We make two batches and add some vodka to the grown up batch.

It was in the 100's here all weekend so this really hit the spot. The cherries look pretty in the lemonade too.

Great recipe. I made some cookie bars needing marischino cherries but not the juice. I reserved the juice from a 10 oz. jar and found this recipe. It confirmed for me that this would be a great way to use this juice and it is! Wonderful flavor. Nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. Love it!

This was delicious. Based on the 1st review, I doubled everything but the cherry and cherry juice part (kept it at 6 ounces.) Came out with a very nice not to tart, not to sweet cherry lemonade. Perfect recipe for us as we had used the rinds for lemoncello and didn't have the rinds to make the lemonade with!

YUM! this was so good and refreshing. I put a little more lemon juice than it said though, b/c it didn't seem lemony enough - I added about two more lemons, squeezed. It was delicious!
