The original Cuba libre. There are many offshoots and variations, but here is the original cocktail: dark rum, cola, and lime.

ice
2 ounces dark rum
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
8 ounces cola
1 lime wedge
directions
Fill a highball glass half full with ice. Add the rum and lime juice and stir gently. Add cola to fill, then stir gently.
Garnish with a lime wedge. Serve the cuba libre immediately.
