ingredients
4 ounces strong brewed espresso
2 ounces amaretto
2 ounces heavy cream
1 1/2 ounce chocolate liqueur
whipped cream
directions
Put all ingredients except whipped cream in a small saucepan and heat through.
Pour into 8-ounce size Irish coffee mugs and top with whipped cream.

Ok, I know it's only Tuesday and it's also only 10:00am. However, I had just soaked some dried apricots in warm amaretto and taken a little taste. The warm almond flavor was so comforting that I started thinking about a hot toddy with amaretto. Then I thought of chocolate. The result is a heavenly dream. Enjoy!
