ingredients
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
2 pounds Italian turkey sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, sliced
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
directions
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. In a large skillet, cook sausage, onion, carrots and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and carrots are crisp-tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in the noodles, Worcestershire sauce and sage.
Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer or until bubbly.

This was delicious! I used regular almond milk and the sauce was nice and creamy. I will add more carrots next time.

This was really, really good. I didn't have onions on hand so I had to use onion powder. I'm sure it would have been better with the onions. I'm going to add it to my recipe collection. My 24 year old son loved it! He had 2 helpings for supper and another helping for a bedtime snack!
