I make one just like this but a couple changes to cut down on calories. First is the bagel I use bagel thins and only 110 calories and then toast them and use country crock lite for butter. I’m not sure how many calories in a slice of spam but I use spam lite singles way better than spam as they don’t have all that jellied Fat and so quick and handy, thanks Hormel for wonderful product I would give this sandwich 5 stars but I never made the recipe here just my own version. Enjoy everyone.

This was a great change of pace. The bagel added a new dimension to the sandwich instead of using toast. I would recommend to spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the bagel for added flavor and creaminess. Just as good if not better than any fast food joint. Highly recommend. Don't let the Spam scare you.

Spam gets kind of a bad rap (stupid Internet), but this tasted just as good as one of McDonald's breakfast gut-bombs and was way cheaper, of course. The Spam was a nice change of pace from say, ham.

  4. Valerie REVIEW:

It's been eons since I've had Spam! This was a fun reason to buy it again. Good, tasty breakfast (and honestly, it tasted way better than I expected!).
