A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.

Flour tortillas are spread with cream cheese and strawberry jam and filled with sliced fresh kiwi fruit.
1 (6-inch) flour tortilla
cream cheese
strawberry jam
1 kiwi fruit, peeled and thinly sliced
Evenly spread cream cheese over one side of the tortilla. Spread strawberry jam over half of the tortilla (over the cream cheese).
Place kiwi fruit slices on the other half of the tortilla (so you have one half kiwi fruit and one half strawberry jam). Fold the strawberry half over the kiwi fruit half. Serve. You can also cut this into wedges if desired.
To prevent the tortilla from getting soggy, you can place the kiwifruit slices on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture before placing them on the tortilla.
Tropical Twist: Use mango jam and add slices of fresh mango and pineapple.
Berry Blast: Use mixed berry jam and add slices of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
Nutty Delight: Add a layer of almond or peanut butter for added protein and a different flavor dimension.
Any regular or flavored cream cheese that complements the fruit will work. You can also use low-fat or vegan cream cheese.
Yes, you can substitute with any jam of your choice like raspberry, blueberry, or even a mixed fruit jam.
A 6-inch tortilla is recommended for individual servings, but you can use a larger one if you plan to cut it into wedges for multiple servings.
Thin slices are easier to fold and eat but aim for consistency so that every bite has a piece of kiwi.
You can add other fruits like sliced strawberries, bananas, or blueberries for more flavor and texture or to change up the recipe.
The amount is to taste, but generally, a thin layer of each is sufficient to add flavor without overwhelming the other ingredients.
It's best consumed immediately but can be refrigerated for up to a day. Note that the tortilla may become soggy over time.
Yes, you can add some protein like chia seeds, hemp seeds, or even a few slices of cooked bacon for a non-vegetarian twist.
Yes, you can use any tortilla of your choice, though the flavor and texture will vary.
The recipe as is isn't gluten-free due to the flour tortilla. Use a gluten-free tortilla to make it gluten-free.
Use vegan cream cheese and check that your jam is vegan to make this recipe vegan-friendly.

I agree with the others, roll these up instead of folding. SO good though!! I love the combo of strawberry and kiwi. I think I'll add fresh sliced strawberries too next time.

I agree that these are way too messy to eat this way. Pretty, but messy. I ended up rollling them up in the tortilla.

This recipe tasted good. It was refreshing and fairly light. But the contents of the tortilla slid around and squished out onto the plate to such an extent that eating it with a knife and fork was impossible. Tasty, but messy!

The flavor of these were really delicious but they were terribly difficult to eat. The kiwi fruit slips and slides around and ultimately pops out of the tortilla. It's pretty this way presentation-wise but I'd suggest rolling up the tortillas with the fruit inside for better eatability. And, that would be more like a burrito - this is more quesadilla-ish.
