ingredients

1 1/2 pound ground elk meat
1 medium onion, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 teaspoons beef bouillon
1/2 cup water
2 cans (16.5 ounce size) baked beans
1 1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
2 teaspoons garlic
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
bacon bits

directions

In an iron skillet over medium heat, cook elk, onions, and celery until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.

Dissolve bouillon in water; stir into elk mixture. Add, beans, ketchup, mustard, garlic salt and pepper; mix well.

Cover and bake at 375 degrees F for an hour or until bubbly; stir. Top with bacon bits.
