The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Place 2-3 pods in a blender container and finely grind them on low speed. Add more pods until the lower portion of the jar is full.
Empty container and continue to process until all pods are ground.
