ingredients
2 small packages cherry gelatin
2 cups water, boiling
1 can (21 ounce size) cherry pie filling
12 ounces whipped cream cheese
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 pint pitted cherries
directions
Spray an oblong baking dish and set aside.
In a saucepan, combine the gelatin and boiling water until dissolved. Let cool slightly and stir in the cherry pie filling. Pour into a prepared baking dish.
Chill until set. Spread with cream cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts and garnish with cherries. Cut into squares.
