Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Couldn't stop eating it! I set it out as an appetizer before the main course and we all got stuffed on it and didn't even care about dinner. 6 of us inhaled it!

This was very quick and easy, we took to for a BBQ and it went so fast. The only thing was that my dad wanted to add a can of jalapenos to give it a kick and it made this great dip even better!
