1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 cup Alfredo sauce

1/2 jar (12 ounce size) roasted red peppers, drained and cut into strips
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Saute onion and sugar in hot oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and balsamic vinegar. Set aside.
Spread alfredo sauce over bottom of pizza crust, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle caramelized onions evenly over sauce
Layer evenly with chicken, roasted red pepper strips, cheese, and basil.
Bake at 425 degrees F for 11 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
