Chutney Appetizer Recipe

Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
6 ounces softened cream cheese
1 cup sharp natural Cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 tablespoons dry sherry
3/4 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash red hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
1/2 cup or more finely chopped mango chutney (or other fruit chutney)
4 green onions, sliced with part of the stem
Directions:
Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, sherry, salt, curry powder and Tabasco (food processor works well). Spread in a disc on serving platter 1/2 inch thick. Allow room for the cracker to go around the edge of the platter. Chill 2 hours. At serving time, spread the chutney on top. Then sprinkle with green onion slices. Surround with crackers.
