Refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, lettuce, and chopped veggies are topped with cheese and black olives to make a dip you can't stop eating.
1 can (16 ounce size) refried beans
1 envelope (1 ounce size) taco seasoning mix
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 container (16 ounce size) sour cream
1 jar (16 ounce size) salsa
3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can (6 ounce size) sliced black olives, drained
Place the refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on 50% power for 2 minutes. Stir the beans once halfway through the cooking time.
Stir the taco seasoning into the beans and mix until well blended.
Spread the bean mixture in an even layer on a large platter.
Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat with a mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Stir in the sour cream in by hand until blended. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the layer of beans.
Evenly spread the salsa over the top of the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the lettuce over the salsa.
Top with the chopped tomatoes, bell pepper, green onions, cheddar cheese, and black olives.
Serve at room temperature with sturdy tortilla chips for scooping up the dip. Refrigerate leftovers.
