ingredients
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cup olive oil
directions
In a food processor or blender, puree garlic. Add next 6 ingredients; process until smooth. With the motor running, slowly pour oil into mixture in a steady stream. Continue processing until mixture becomes thick and firm. Chill until ready to serve.
Serve with artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, blanched snow peas, carrots, cauliflower, strips of green pepper, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, hard cooked eggs, chunks of cooked lobster, cooked shrimp, or chunks of French bread.
