1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
8 drops red hot pepper sauce
2 2/3 cups crispy wheat cereal squares
2 2/3 cups crispy corn cereal squares
2 2/3 cups crispy rice cereal squares
1 1/2 cup French fried onions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In an open roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Remove.
Stir in parsley, celery salt, garlic, cayenne pepper and pepper sauce. Gradually add cereals, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Add onions and mix well. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In a 4 quart microwave-safe dish, melt butter on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir in parsley, celery salt, garlic, cayenne pepper and pepper sauce.
Gradually add cereals, stirring until all the pieces are evenly coated. Cook on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 1 minute.
Add onions and mix well. Cook for an additional 1 minute. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
