Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

9 cups Chex cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Pour cereal into large bowl; set aside.
In 1-quart, microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine. Microwave at 100-percent power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate sauce slowly over cereal, stirring to coat evenly.
Pour cereal into large plastic bag. Add powdered sugar and secure; shake to coat well. Spread on waxed paper to cool.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Question - I've made these before following recipe and they turned out very good. Sometimes children are not allowed to have peanut butter in recipe. Is there a substitution I could make that they turn out similar.

I just finished making these and MMmmm MMmm they are sooooo yummy! I didn't have any powdered sugar handy so I went without and they are still delicous! Easy and simple to make! You can eat them cooled or right out after the mix is done microwaving! Either way, they're soooo good! Everyone loves them!

I once ran out of chocolate chips so I used white chocolate chips instead and now I would never go without. White chocolate chips make this recipe taste soo much better! Try it out for yourself!
