Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Yes it seems weird, and yes, it's actually really good. Cheerios skillet-stirred with melted butter and salt are a creative, fun and addictive alternative to popcorn. No milk needed for this bowl of cereal.

1/4 cup butter
4 cups Cheerios cereal
1/2 teaspoon salt
Melt butter in a skillet over low heat. Add the cereal and cook, stirring, until well coated and heated, about 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle with salt.
Serve warm or cool. Can add 1 cup peanuts before serving if desired.

This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.
Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

I used to make this when I was a kid! Always a favorite. I took your suggestion and added a cup of peanuts. I didn't like it. It would be better to leave it out. Or, if you do use peanuts, add m&m's.

I remember a commercial for these when I was in high school. Now twenty years later and a Mother myself, I decided to make them for my Son. They almost taste like popcorn!!
