This is definitely NOT a "pound cake" but it is a tasty almond-flavored bundt cake. It was moist and had just the right amount of almond extract flavor. I would rate it as a difficulty level of 1 or 2, easy enough for a child to make.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
