Quick German Chocolate Cake

ingredients
1 package white cake mix
1 package (6 ounce size) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 large eggs
2 cups milk
TOPPING
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts
1/4 cup milk
directions
Mix pudding and cake mix together. Then add milk and eggs. Beat with mixer 3 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
For Topping: After cake is cool, mix these ingredients together and spread on cake. No need to boil or broil this topping. Just spread.

My son wanted a german chocolate cake but the store was out of that flavor mix. I was going to try a different store the next day but found this recipe in the meantime. The cake part was pretty close to a regular german chocolate mix. Not exactly the same but close enough as a substitute. I did toast the coconut before adding it to the topping but that was the only change.
