Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

- #60312
ingredients
12 party rolls or slider buns
1/2 pound shaved ham
1/2 pound sliced Swiss cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons poppy seeds, optional
directions
Slice the party rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Evenly divide the ham and swiss cheese between the bottom buns.
In a bowl, stir together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, onion flakes, and poppy seeds (if using). Drizzle half the butter mixture over the ham and cheese. Place the bun tops on their corresponding bottoms and drizzle the remaining butter mixture over everything.
Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the party rolls, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve hot.
