Baked Ham And Cheese Sandwich With Mushroom Sauce

ingredients
16 slices bread
3/4 pound ham, sliced
1/2 pound cheese
4 eggs, beaten
4 cups milk
SAUCE
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can milk
1/2 cup mushrooms
4 hard-boiled eggs
directions
Remove crust from bread. Place half the slices in the bottom of a greased 9" x 13" pan. Put 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on each piece of bread. Put another slice of bread on top of each.
Beat eggs and milk together. Pour over the sandwiches. Refrigerate overnight. Remove in the morning for several hours before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees F degrees for 1 hour. Pour sauce over sandwiches when serving.
