Spiced Turnip Fries

ingredients
4 turnips, trimmed and peeled
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Cut turnips into 2 x 1/2 inch sticks. Place on foil lined jelly roll pan. Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Toss with your hands to coat. Spread out in a single layer.
Roast the fries for 30 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time for an even browning. Serve immediately.
