Baked Turnip Puff

ingredients
1 medium turnip, cooked and mashed
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon flour
1 dash rosemary (optional)
2 eggs, separated
directions
Blend well the turnip, butter, salt, pepper, sugar and flour.
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff; set aside.
Beat 2 egg yolks until light, gradually stir into seasoned turnip. Fold in egg whites.
Pour into a greased 1 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned.
