It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

This pomegranate martini presents an interesting fusion of flavors, integrating the sweet and tangy notes of pomegranate juice with the crispness of vodka or tequila.

1 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
2 ounces Absolute Citron vodka or white tequila
1 ounce Cointreau liqueur
1 cup ice
Optional
1 splash sparkling water
1 squeeze lemon
Shake ingredients in a shaker and put in chilled martini or cocktail glasses. Garnish with lemon peel or pomegranate seeds.
