The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Antioxidant-rich green tea is mixed with orange-flavored vodka, cointreau, and a little simple syrup for sweetness.

ice
1 ounce double strength brewed green tea, chilled
2 ounces citron vodka
1 teaspoon cointreau or triple sec
1 teaspoon simple syrup
orange twist
directions
Add the ice to a cocktail shaker.
Add the green tea, vodka, cointreau, and simple syrup.
Shake well until chilled and strain into a martini or other cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
