Brandied Cranberries

ingredients
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
12 ounces cranberries
directions
Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan and stir well. Add cranberries. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until cranberries burst, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into a bowl. Cover and chill for 8 hours or overnight. Serve cold with turkey or ham.
