1 package onion soup mix
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons flour

Rinse roast and pat dry. Sprinkle the onion soup mix in the bottom of crockpot. Place roast in next. Spoon the cranberry sauce around and over the roast. Cover and cook on LOW for 10-12 hours.

Remove roast from crockpot and allow to rest while you thicken the gravy. Turn the crockpot up to HIGH. Blend the softened butter and flour into a paste and whisk it into the gravy. Cover and cook on HIGH for about 10 minutes, till thick.

This is an old stand-by recipe for me. Just came back to print out a fresh copy since mine is so worn and covered in gravy! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very flavorful and tender pork roast recipe.

Delicious. I thought the cranberry would make it really sweet but it was true to it's name. It was tangy and the sauce thickened up perfectly. Made a great gravy over potatoes. Will definitely make again.

I did a 2 1/2 lb pork shoulder bone in. It fell off the bone and so tender. gravy was very rich, next time I will add some potatoe or carrot water to thin a bit otherwise it was awesome. My cooker on low did this one in 7 hours.
