I normally am not a fan of caesar dressing. I had a caesar side salad from Applebee's last week and loved the dressing. This is so close, I could not tell the difference. I was wanting a vegetarian recipe and this is it. GREAT! Thanks for sharing!

I just made this and I must say it's not bad. I think the flavor will depend heavily on the quality of the parmesan you use though. I used a can of pre-grated storebought parmesan and it turned out decent.

No wonder I dislike Applebee's. This maybe a good mayo based salad dressing, but if I had ordered a ceaser salad with this on it, it would have gone back to the kitchen.. Ceaser Salad dressing is olive oil, garlic, dry mustard, lemon juice, either anchovies or worcestershire sauce or anchovies and egg. I a chain resturant, pastuerized egg is fine.
