Is there a way to thin it? Mine turned out very thick

    • You could thin it with a tiny bit of liquid - milk or water would both work.

Re the comment from Jenct, I am the Caesar salad queen, making the dressing similar to as you described, and fresh parm cheese and homemade croutons; however, we ate at Applebee’s durning a recent trip, ordered Caesar salad and soup, and I must say it was delicious. I can have “my” recipe anytime I want, however this was a nice change. I googled Applebee’s recipe and it is so simple. So for the times I am requested to make for a party, which is often, I will stick to my old standby, but I will also be using this new, delicious recipe for quick meals. Throw in homemade croutons, which I make using bagels or hearty rolls, and it will be fabulous. Let me also add, Applebee’s was a nice surprise, as I try not to eat in chain restaurants. The food was delicious and our server was delightful.

I normally am not a fan of caesar dressing. I had a caesar side salad from Applebee's last week and loved the dressing. This is so close, I could not tell the difference. I was wanting a vegetarian recipe and this is it. GREAT! Thanks for sharing!

I just made this and I must say it's not bad. I think the flavor will depend heavily on the quality of the parmesan you use though. I used a can of pre-grated storebought parmesan and it turned out decent.
