5 cups unbleached self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup honey
1 cup chopped fresh apple pieces
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup real butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Pour buttermilk over cereal and mix. Add eggs, honey, apples and melted butter. Mix well. Add flour one cup at a time and mix well after each cup. Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees F until light golden brown.
Can also make loaves by filling bread loaf pans 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees F until light golden brown.
