Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

I love to try new breads, and this one is very good and very moist. The glaze is a little strong for me but all in all a very good bread

I added 2 tsp of vanilla, because what doesn't taste better with vanilla? This is a really good bread, but be warned that the dough is soupy when you add the amaretto. Stir until it isn't and put into a well greased pan. It is a good, unique recipe.
This recipe should include 1-1/2 c. flour.
I really would like to try this recipe. I have read it carefully and think it would be good but with the ingredients listed, won't it be like an omelet rather than bread? Mother thinks there should be flour. I cannot disagree. Thank you for considering this dilemma. Martha
