It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Deep Fried Spareribs

ingredients
1 pound pork spareribs (country style preferred)
boiling water
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
2 cups oil, for deep frying
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
directions
Cut spareribs into 1 inch width pieces. Cover with boiling water and boil until fork tender (15 to 20 minutes). Cool.
Mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, egg and flour. Stir into spareribs.
Heat oil to 400 degrees F. Deep fry ribs until brown (3 to 4 minutes). Drain.
In saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. Stir until thick. Add spareribs to sauce mixture and stir until ribs are thoroughly coated.
