Barbecue Spare Ribs Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup wine vinegar
32 ounces bottle ketchup
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Salt and pepper
4 pounds beef, pork Texas style ribs or Country Style Ribs
Directions:
In skillet, saute onion, celery and black pepper in butter. Add to crock pot with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours (high setting 3 - 4 hours). Sauce can be doubled and freezes well.
