Bourbon Glazed Chicken

ingredients
Marinade
1/2 cup bourbon
1/3 cup light soy sauce
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small shallot grated
2 tablespoons soft brown sugar
1 splash Tabasco sauce (optional)
4 chicken breast halves
cream
directions
Mix all the marinade ingredients (except cream) and marinade the chicken overnight. Grill the chicken basting with the sauce till glazed and ready.
In a sauce pan simmer remaining marinade and add cream for make a sauce. Serve the grilled glazed chicken with some sauce over it along with green beans and new potatoes or rice.

Wow this marinade is incredible! I'm going to try it on steak too. The sauce was really good with the cream in it. Served over brown rice. I didn't grill just oven baked and basted the chicken. It was 20F here yesterday so there is no way I was grilling LOLOL!

We just finished dining on a meal prepared with this recipe, with a few modifications. We used this recipe to prepare a chicken glaze to use immediately, instead of marinating for a period of time. We prepared the ingrediants as directed and set aside, pan fried some chicken breast strips until done, then simmered/reduced the glaze sauce to a thickened state and added the fried chicken strips long enough to coat both sides with glaze. We served it immediately coated with the sauce. What a delicious/easy way to add a new twist to chicken!!!!!
