Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

This simple recipe is made with chicken dredged in flour, butter, lemon juice onion, and garlic. Bake and baste as directed.
1/2 cup butter
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper, as desired
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Place the butter in a baking pan and place the pan in the oven to melt.
Place the chicken breasts between sheets of waxed paper. Pound the chicken to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
Dredge the flattened chicken breasts in the flour. When the butter is melted, remove the pan from the oven and place the chicken in the pan, turning to coat it with the melted butter on all sides.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees F, basting occasionally with the melted butter.
Combine the lemon juice, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Remove the chicken from the oven and brush with the lemon mixture. Return the lemon chicken to the oven and bake for 30 minutes longer or until the chicken is cooked, basting after 15 minutes.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

I dropped the lemon juice amount to 1/4 cup but that was the only change. Super good. Not sure why the person thought this didn't look like the picture, it was exact. Really good. Maybe add a little more garlic but we love garlic.
I made this tonight but the baste was all watery, was I suppossed to add flour? Didn't look nothing like the picture!

I was actually shocked at how good this was. The sounds coming from the dinner table tonight seem to be in agreement that this is a GOLDEN find! The only change I made was to add a sliced lemon to the top of it when it had about 15 minutes left to cook. It looked pretty and tasted even better! Great work!

Whoever gave us the honey hint was right on the money! Just the right blend of sweet and tart! I rounded out the menu with some simple wedge red potatoes with italian seasoning and olive oil and baby sweet peas....YUMMY

We're on the healthy kick so boneless skinless chicken breast have become the protein of the house. This recipe was so easy. I already had the 4 breasts marinating overnight with fresh thyme and italian seasoning (no salt) and fresh ground peppercorn. I added to the flour some lemon pepper seasoning and used " I can't believe it's not butter" to cut the fat. I also took the advice of the other comments by cutting the lemon juice to 1/4 cup and added a tsp of honey to cut the sour taste. The dish was a HIT! The kids smacked their lips and licked their fingers. I coupled it with sauteed spinach with garlic and mushrooms. It was an awesome dinner.

I made it for my family and they all said it was a little sour. I used servings for 6 and it called for a half cup of of lemon juice, this shuld be reduced to 1/3 cup with honey to rudece to sour flavor

I love this recipe! I took the advice of others here and added a little bit of honey, and it was de-lish! Just one bite, and you can taste the lemon and spices! Next time, I am going to bake this for my family; I know they will love it!

This lemon chicken is so good but you must love lemon because it is a bit on the sour side. I used (I can't belive its not butter) instead of real butter to cut down on the fat.

I made this recipe for 100 people for a Banquet at the High School where I work as Head Cook. I used frozen precooked grilled chicken breasts and they worked out fine. The only thing I did different was I added Lemon Pepper to the flour, but cooked them as directed. They were delicious and I received many complements! So, you can make this recipe for a crowd with no problems!
Delicious recipe, thanks. If you add a bit of lime juice and honey it tastes even better. Enjoy.

this recipe was very tasteful, however it was very bland. im used to eating foods filled with flavor from all diff kinds of spices. so my suggestion would be to add lemon zest, and black seed(usually found in middle eastern stores)this should build up some more taste!

This recipe was easy and delicious. I was concerned about the comments that it was sour, so I added a tiny bit of honey to the baste and it was perfect. I think that other reviewer must have mixed the flour into the baste instead of just dredging the chicken -- no way it is difficult to spread. It's just lemon juice, onion, & garlic...I just mixed it in a measuring cup and poured it over the chicken.

Sour...baste was very thick... difficult to spread.

Really good recipe, I absolutely love sour food, so it hit my taste buds wonderfully. However, for a person who cannot eat peeled lemons, I would strongly recommend decreasing the amount of lemon juice (maybe a 1/4 cup, instead of 1/3)
