ingredients
2 pounds boneless round steak
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 can (16 ounce size) tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash basil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
directions
Trim excess fat from steak. Cut steak in serving size pieces. Roll steaks in flour. Cook in butter until brown. Add tomatoes, salt, basil and pepper.
Cover and simmer 1 hour. Stir in onion. Cook 30 minutes longer. Sprinkle cheese over meat. Cover and heat just until melted.
