Slow Cooker Three-Pepper Steak

ingredients

1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 1/4 pound beef flank steak
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 medium tomatoes, chopped

directions

Slice the bell peppers into thin strips. Place the flank steak in the bottom of the crock pot. Top with the bell pepper slices.

Combine the salt, crushed red pepper, green onions, soy sauce, and chopped tomatoes in a small bowl. mix well to combine. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and flank steak in the crock pot.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours or until the steak is tender and the vegetables are soft.

Remove the flank steak to a cutting board. Cut across the grain. Serve with the vegetables over rice or on flour tortillas.
