Slow Cooker Stuffed Flank Steak

ingredients
1 1/2 cup packaged bread stuffing
1 can (4 ounce size) sliced mushrooms with juice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 pound flank steak, scored on both sides
2 tablespoons salad oil
SAUCE
1 package (3/4 ounce size) brown gravy mix
1/4 cup dry red wine
2 tablespoons minced green onions
1/4 cup currant jelly
directions
Combine bread stuffing and mushrooms with juice, butter and cheese. Spread over one side of the flank steak; roll up like a jelly roll. Fasten with skewers or string. Pour oil in crockpot; roll steak in oil, coating all sides.
SAUCE: Prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Combine gravy, wine, and onions. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.
Remove meat from crockpot; slice. Add jelly to liquid in the crockpot and stir until dissolved. Serve over meat.

Made exactly as stated and it turned out amazing!

Excellent. Served family & visitors for two dinner meals in a weekend. Only changes I made were using beef broth in place of gravy package (I had forgotten to buy) & added small can of sliced black olives(a favorite addition of my husband). Have made recipe several times either with gravy package or broth, but add the olives for my husband.
